Overview

Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions to meet service standards. Work under the supervision of a Team Leader and perform administrative tasks.

Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities

Strategic Focus

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to funds, employers, and members by meeting quality and service standards.
  • Complete daily processing within agreed service standards.
  • Operational Management
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by meeting quality and service standards.
  • Process and complete all operations administration.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, financial, and fund-specific procedures to minimize risk to the business.
  • Review work to minimize rework and maintain high quality standards.
  • Meet quality and productivity standards.
  • Complete all transactions across funds as required.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve enquiries.
  • Adjust and investigate as appropriate and instructed.
  • Participate positively in the team by cooperating with others to achieve team goals.

Governance & Risk

  • Comply with company policies, core values, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, financial, and fund-specific procedures to minimize risk to the business.
  • Develop and maintain Business Process Manuals and training materials.

Experience & Personal Attributes: Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Good understanding of relevant Superannuation legislation.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office and other software packages.
  • Previous administration skills in data entry/high volume type roles, ideally in a financial services industry.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Generate creative solutions to address problems and commit to follow through.
  • Sound knowledge of technical and compliance issues, understanding relevant policies and legislation.

  • Investigation and problem-solving abilities, ability to follow procedure documents and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Customer-focused with ability to collaborate with others to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ability to prioritize and time manage multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.
