">Job Title: IT Infrastructure Director
">We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Director to lead our team and drive the strategic direction of our IT infrastructure.
">Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 per annum
">This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and data centers. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills.
">About the Role:
">The IT Infrastructure Director will be responsible for:
">- ">
- Developing and implementing strategic plans for the organization's IT infrastructure">
- Evaluating and recommending new technologies, tools, and systems to enhance the IT infrastructure and optimize operations">
- Collaborating with senior management and stakeholders to align IT infrastructure initiatives with organizational goals">
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and data centers">
- Ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of infrastructure components through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and capacity planning">
- Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect the organization's IT infrastructure and data from unauthorized access or breaches">
- Leading and managing a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation">
- Fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing">
- Providing guidance and support to the team in troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and implementing solutions">
- Evaluating and selecting external vendors and service providers for IT infrastructure projects or ongoing support">
- Negotiating contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing terms with vendors">
- Monitoring vendor performance and ensuring compliance with agreed-upon service levels and contractual obligations">
- Responding to and resolving escalated infrastructure-related incidents and problems in a timely manner">
- Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent future incidents">
- Developing and maintaining documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and knowledge base articles">
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to IT infrastructure">
- Establishing and enforcing IT policies, procedures, and best practices">
- Conducting regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement appropriate controls">
- Developing and managing the IT infrastructure budget, including forecasting and cost optimization initiatives">
- Monitoring expenditures, tracking financial performance, and reporting on budget variances">
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and recommending strategies to optimize IT infrastructure investments">
Qualifications and Skills:
">To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)">
- Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and data centers">
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies, such as virtualization">
