Job Title: Design Engineer

This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Engineer, located in Pune.

  • Responsibilities include preparation of general layout (GA) drawing for process equipment, creation of BOM for procurement and fabrication, drawing revision as per manufacturing and customer feedback, creation of 2D and 3D models of process equipment using CAD tools, and work with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with software such as Auto-CAD and Solid edge.
  • Arrangement (GA) drawing and the ability to create general detailed fabrication drawing essential.
  • Preparation of detailed material take-offs on projects based upon drawings, plans and specifications.
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience of drawing presentation, critical dimensioning, view presentations and parts list preparation.
  • Must have knowledge of manufacturing processes like laser cutting, bending, welding, basic machining.
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience on advance assemblies and layouts with GD&T, surface finishes, welding details and engineering notes.
  • Working knowledge of SAP system (better to have).
  • Experience in making GA layouts will be an added advantage.
  • At least 1+ years of hands-on experience in Solid edge.
  • Quick learner and adopt the existing system.
