Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient software systems using Golang as the primary programming language. Key Responsibilities- Promote and support a culture of inclusion and diversity within the Engineering team
- Participate in agile development projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality of code
- Build, deploy, and maintain your own codebase, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards
- Support standard development practices, including idiomatic syntax, design patterns, and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Implement and monitor analytics to ensure data accuracy and process correctness

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in a distributed environment
- Proficiency in modern web, frontend, backend, and cloud applications
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented concepts and principles
- Experience building highly scalable, high-throughput systems
- Ability to create APIs and extensible systems
The following skills would be advantageous:
- Experience working with Golang in production environments and willingness to learn other languages
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and message-based/event-driven systems
- Public cloud experience, particularly with Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Understanding of operations, monitoring, and deployment methodologies for distributed systems
