Job Description

Our organization seeks a skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our engineering department. As a key member, you will play a vital role in the development and maintenance of our platform.

We are a leading Issuance Platform-as-a-Service provider revolutionising payment infrastructure for banks, corporations, and fintech companies. Our platform supports the issuance of various payment instruments, including PPI, debit, credit, multi-currency cards, and UPI.

The successful candidate will have 3-4 years of experience with Java, strong programming knowledge in Java 8 and above, and experience with software application development using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Java.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, and QA teams to deliver robust solutions.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to design efficient schemas and manage data flow.
  • Implement security best practices to protect sensitive financial data.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
