Job Description

Our organization is seeking an experienced and skilled Instrumentation Control Automation (ICA) professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of ICA systems.

  1. Technical Expertise: We are looking for a candidate with extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), RTU (Remote Terminal Units), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems and reports. They should have a strong understanding of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and layout drawings.
  2. Instrumentation Experience: The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various instruments such as flow meters, pressure sensors, level transmitters, analysers, actuators, Pressure Reducing Valves (PRV), Flow Control Valves (FCV), and electrical panel integration.
  3. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills are required to interpret work plans and execute tasks efficiently according to site requirements.
  4. Cable Laying and Installation: The candidate should have experience in cable laying with necessary accessories in trenches and trays. Proficiency in understanding cable schedules and routing drawings, as well as performing glanding, termination, and loop/Input-Output (IO) testing in the field.
  5. Data Logger Configuration: Proficiency in configuring and commissioning flow and pressure data loggers and other instrumentation equipment is essential.
  6. Safety Protocols: The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing safety protocols to ensure zero injury results. Prioritizing safety in all aspects of the job and implementing corrective actions and maintaining quality standards to avoid rework and ensure project quality.
  7. Communication Skills: Good communication skills are required to communicate project status updates to the reporting officer on a daily, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis. Assisting the project management team in preparing required documents, reports, as-built drawings, and other necessary documentation.

Educational Qualification: A B.E/B. Tech degree in E&I/I&C/C&I/EEE/ECE or related field is required.

Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in ICA systems is preferred.
