Senior Firmware Developer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Firmware Developer to join our team. As a firmware engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing firmware for various embedded systems.

  • Firmware Design:
  • You will analyze hardware requirements and design firmware architecture to meet project specifications.
  • Coding and Testing:
  • Develop high-quality firmware code using C programming language.
  • Debugging and Validation:
  • Identify and resolve firmware-related issues through debugging and validation processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Skills:
  • C programming language
  • USB protocol
  • 7816 specification
  • Strong knowledge of security methods, algorithms, and tools
  • Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of firmware/hardware design and implementation
  • Proficiency in software engineering tools (Git, Jira)
  • Familiarity with SQL Server/MySQL
  • Some knowledge of hardware such as understanding schematics and using an oscilloscope
