Automation Architect Job Description

Our organization seeks a seasoned Automation Architect to contribute to the design and implementation of test automation architectures.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Test Automation with hands-on expertise in Selenium, UFT, Web Services, Soap UI, and API testing.

They should be proficient in data-driven and keyword-driven automation techniques and possess strong analytical skills to design efficient test automation solutions.

A key responsibility will be to promote QA productivity through automation tools, assist in ongoing process improvement efforts, and lead the definition, implementation, and maintenance of standard test automation processes.

The successful candidate will work closely with teams on automation strategy, conduct code reviews, and ensure coding standards are met.

Mentoring junior and senior software quality engineers and working with peer discipline leads in Development, QA, and Project Management will also be essential responsibilities.

Required skills include experience in ReSTful, SOAP Webservices, Groovy, BDD Tools like JBehave or Cucumber, CI Tools like Jenkins, Database testing, and Built tools like Gradle or Maven.

Excellent communication, documentation skills, and experience working with geographically dispersed teams are mandatory.

Candidates must have customer-facing experience and added advantages include airlines ecommerce automation testing experience and transitioning automation activities from other teams/vendors.
