Senior Splunk Developer

At the heart of our infrastructure lies a robust and scalable system that provides unparalleled visibility and insights into our data. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation, optimization, and maintenance of this system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Management: Set up, configure, and maintain Indexers, Search Heads, Deployment Servers, Heavy Forwarders, and Universal Forwarders to ensure seamless data flow and efficient processing.
  • Standardization and Troubleshooting: Standardize Splunk Forwarder Deployments, configurations, and maintenance across UNIX and Windows platforms, and troubleshoot server and Forwarder problems and issues with precision.
  • Dashboard Design and Development: Design and maintain production-quality Dashboards utilizing parsing, indexing, and searching concepts including Hot, Warm, Cold, Frozen bucketing, and leverage expertise in using regex to extract fields from log files and Actuate Reporting, Development, Deployment, Management, and Performance Tuning of Actuate Reports.
  • Capacity Planning and Optimization: Monitor the Splunk infrastructure for capacity planning and optimization, supporting Splunk on Linux and Windows-based platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with MongoDb/Docker services
  • Proficiency in Python, creating, and running customized scripts
  • Data analytics experience
