Job Title: System Architect

 

The System Owner for Vehicle Body Systems is a crucial role that requires expertise in defining, developing, and managing the electrical and electronic architecture of vehicle body systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full accountability for the design, development, integration, validation, and performance of body-related vehicle features from concept through production and post-launch support.
  • Own the end-to-end functional architecture of body systems, defining and managing system and subsystem requirements (functional and non-functional).
  • Responsible for system level definition, requirements from EE, SW, ME, and support EE, SW architecture design, integration at system, component level. Integral liaison between hardware, applications team, and core CFTs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders through system "V" development from concept to launch with design reviews and CFT.

 

Requirements:

  • Rich experience across closures, interiors, safety, etc., as respective function owners.
  • Familiarity with tool landscape JIRA, Confluence, Codebeamer, Preevision, CAMEO, Github, JFROG, etc.
  • Familiarity with A2B, CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, LVDS communication protocols and Vehicle Network tools, such as CANalyzer, CANoe, etc.
