Job Title: Senior Python Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our team at Valasys Media. As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure applications using Python.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure applications using Python
- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement security and data protection solutions
- Troubleshoot and debug applications

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional experience in Python development
- Strong understanding of Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Pyramid
- Experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of data processing and analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy, etc)
- Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and writing unit tests
