The Junior Refrigeration Specialist will be responsible for assisting senior technicians and engineers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems. This role requires working with various types of refrigeration equipment, diagnosing issues, and performing necessary repairs to ensure optimal functioning of refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Installation: Assist senior technicians in installing new refrigeration systems, including positioning equipment, connecting refrigerant lines, and ensuring proper insulation.
  2. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on refrigeration systems, such as cleaning condenser coils, checking and replenishing refrigerant levels, and inspecting electrical connections.
  3. Troubleshooting: Assist in identifying and diagnosing malfunctions in refrigeration systems by using diagnostic tools, gauges, and meters. Help determine the root cause of issues and recommend solutions.
  4. Repair: Collaborate with senior technicians to repair and replace faulty components, such as compressors, evaporators, condensers, valves, and motors. Follow established repair procedures and safety guidelines.
  5. Testing and Calibration: Assist in testing refrigeration systems after repairs or maintenance to ensure proper functioning. Calibrate controls, thermostats, and pressure settings as needed.
