Job Title: Production Lead

We are seeking an experienced Production Lead to oversee our fabrication activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end fabrication processes, developing strategies aligned with production plans and customer requirements, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely project completion, and collaborating with various departments for seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage fabrication teams across multiple units.
  • Develop and implement fabrication strategies in line with production goals and customer needs.
  • Maintain high-quality standards and ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Work closely with design, procurement, planning, and quality teams for efficient operations.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly productivity metrics, including rejection rates.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and lean manufacturing practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Plan workforce, machine capacity, and material availability effectively.
  • Identify skill gaps and mentor the fabrication team to improve performance.
  • Maintain documentation, reports, and ensure audit compliance.
  • Manage subcontracting activities and vendor performance, if applicable.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in structural, pressure vessel, or equipment fabrication.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques, materials, codes, and standards.
  • Experience with ERP systems, fabrication software/tools, and production planning systems.
