Ecommerce Development Role

Job Summary:

  • This is a senior ecommerce development position focused on delivering high-quality web-based solutions using the SAP Hybris platform.

We are looking for an experienced ecommerce developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge ecommerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as the lead ecommerce developer for ecommerce web-based solutions primarily focusing on the SAP Hybris platform.
  2. Develop standards for Development, source code control, documentation, Digital testing practices, and release management.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement ecommerce solutions that meet business requirements.
  4. 5+ years of experience in Hybris development.
  5. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality code that meets quality expectations and is supported by well-documented architectural designs.
  6. Deliver quality code that is validated with code quality tools like SonarCloud.
  7. Provide Level 1, 2, and 3 Support for SAP Hybris e-Commerce platform solutions working alongside external vendors and support services.
  8. Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to investigate and address the root cause of defects incidents and outages.
  9. Offer expert advice on technical solutions and their potential impact on changes to the digital/web platform.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Proficient in Java development with substantial experience.
  2. Development experience with B2C as well as B2B Hybris accelerator OCC WCMS Media Backoffice Cockpits ASM.
  3. Familiarity with search engines like Solr Coveo lucidchart.
  4. Experience integrating various payment providers.
  5. Hands-on experience in creating standalone microservices.
  6. Proficiency in code versioning and control systems like SVN and GIT.
  7. Knowledge of SAP cloud infra CCV2.
  8. Understanding of SQL MySQL Oracle DB2 or SQL Server.
  9. Hands-on experience with unit testing framework like Junit.
  10. Hands-on experience with SoapUI REST Client/Postman HTML JavaScript jQuery Angular React Vue.
  11. Experience integrating with CDN Web Analytics Application Monitoring and Alerting technologies.
  12. Proven experience in leading a team of developers and enhancing the team's technical skillsets.
  13. Execution of at least 2 full lifecycles of Hybris project.
  14. Customer interaction skills to understand requirements and resolve issues.
  15. Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure preferably Azure cloud.
  16. At least one experience with platform migration ideally Hybris version 2208+.
  17. Setup Hybris development environments and sandboxes.
  18. Proficient in Hybris foundational concepts and has experience & knowledge of multichannel architecture data modelling with Hybris Data exchange and integration.
  19. Proficient in Hybris Task management internationalization personalization and security concepts.
  20. Write application code that exceeds defined quality standards.
  21. Experience in migrating to Hybris Spartacus framework.
