Job Overview

A seasoned Regulatory Expert with a strong understanding of the power sector is sought after by our client. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with regulatory bodies and providing end-to-end support in regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling rate filings, tariff determination, petitions, and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Drafting, compiling, and submitting regulatory petitions, compliance reports, replies to queries, and objections raised by commissions or stakeholders.
  • Conducting regulatory analysis on existing policies, tariff orders, and guidelines to ensure alignment with statutory frameworks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Power / Energy / Related discipline with Master's degree in Finance or Power Management.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the power sector regulatory framework.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in rate filings, tariff determination, and petitions before regulatory bodies.
Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
