As a skilled systems analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications for the POS application. This involves building business cases, including cost/benefit analysis, for strategic initiatives and special projects.">Key responsibilities include ensuring production data accuracy, integrity, and cleanliness for guest and employee profiles, transactions, etc. You will also build and optimize monitoring and alerting capabilities across multiple integrations, not limited to POS. Additionally, you will automate report generation in Power BI, Splunk, etc., to get meaningful KPIs.To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the architecture of applications and the technology stack. You will recommend appropriate strategies to ensure SLAs are met. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, QA testers, and IT support staff, is essential.A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, with a master's degree being a plus. 7+ years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development, with a focus on POS applications, is necessary.Technical skills required include proficiency in Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL, as well as strong experience with AWS infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and Terraform.Familiarity with modern development frameworks and languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js is desirable. Knowledge of POS hardware and software integration, particularly XStore POS-related experience, is highly valued.The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong leadership and project management abilities, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
