Commercial Fit-Out Project Manager Job Description

As a Commercial Fit-Out Project Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of high-quality commercial interior fit-out projects for premium clients in Bengaluru.

This role involves leading cross-functional teams to interpret design drawings, manage procurement, and ensure timely project execution. You will also be responsible for preparing and controlling project plans, maintaining governance through change control and risk logs, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead turnkey fit-out execution, including design coordination, site delivery, commissioning, snag resolution, and client handover.
  • Prepare and control project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources; maintain governance via change control and risk logs.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including clients, designers, vendors, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, HSE, and building codes.
  • Facilitate timely resolution of technical or contractual challenges; oversee accurate documentation from RFIs to variation orders and handover dossiers.
  • Deliver structured stakeholder reporting and maintain transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed as a Commercial Fit-Out Project Manager, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction management, or similar field.
  • 8-15 years of experience managing commercial or office interior fit-out projects, including high-value assignments.
  • Hands-on leadership of on-site teams and contractors, ideally with prior turnkey project experience.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
