Risk Management Expert

Our company seeks a highly skilled Risk Management Expert to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective credit risk models and frameworks in an unsecured rural/semi-urban lending context.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement credit risk models and associated frameworks to manage risk across the lending life cycle.
  • Monitor and review portfolio performance on a periodic basis, analyzing trends and identifying early warning signals.
  • Ensure risk policies are up-to-date and reflect the dynamic external environment and internal risk appetite.
  • Analyze industry data and prepare MIS/Dashboards to inform senior management on changing market conditions.
  • Review processes regularly to ensure adherence to risk policies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to strengthen the risk framework.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a reputable institution.
  • 3-6 years of experience in managing risk in a non-bank financial company (NBFC)/fintech/lending organization.
  • 2+ years of experience in Python and SQL programming is mandatory.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of data insights.
  • Sound knowledge of statistical models and their application in risk management.
  • Experience in microfinance/MSME lending is an added advantage.
