Cloud Platform Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer with expertise in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and database management to design, deploy, and manage scalable, high-performance systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy cloud infrastructure on AWS or OCI platforms.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Optimize and manage databases like Oracle, Redshift, Exadata, Postgres.
  • Set up and maintain systems like Tableau, Apache Airflow, Kafka, and cloud-based databases.
  • Evaluate and implement best practices for security, scalability, and reliability in cloud environments.
  • Implement automation, monitoring, and logging processes following DevOps principles.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and performance issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with development and data teams to create a seamless cloud ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell for automation.
  • Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation.
  • Deep knowledge of databases like Oracle, Exadata.
  • Expertise in setting up and managing platforms like Tableau, Airflow, Kafka.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking, security, and cost optimization principles.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based applications.
