Interior Designer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer to join our team as a key support for our lead designer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accompanying and assisting the lead designer during client meetings at job sites and showrooms, taking detailed notes during meetings, taking measurements/photos of projects, creating CAD drawings for client projects, researching décor and materials, providing pricing, availability, stock, etc., placing orders, purchasing materials, picking up and delivering, submitting receipts for all purchases and orders, tracking and communicating status of orders; resolving problems, maintaining spreadsheets with client selections/finish materials, scheduling for the designer, contractors, clients, vendors, responding to client questions and concerns; project updates, meeting vendors, assisting with installations, submitting detailed hours (billable and non-billable) and mileage log monthly, checking daily client spreadsheet for new tasks; updating status of assigned task end of each day.

This role requires 1-2 years of work experience in interior design. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

As an Interior Designer, you will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality designs and meet deadlines. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with clients and vendors, and ensuring that all design requirements are met.
