Placement Officer/Manager Job

This position involves leading campus placement efforts, requiring strong industry connections and excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful student placements and be able to plan, organize, and execute campus placement drives for engineering, management, and other streams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic partnerships with corporates, HR professionals, and recruiters to drive placement opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to align students' skill development with industry demands.

Industry Connect & Employer Outreach:

  • Proactively identify new companies for recruitment and internship tie-ups.
  • Organize industry interaction sessions, webinars, guest lectures, and pre-placement talks to foster relationships.

Placement Strategy & Analytics:

  • Establish annual placement targets and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for placement success.
  • Maintain accurate placement statistics, company feedback, and track hiring trends across sectors.
  • Analyze gaps in student preparedness and recommend skill-building measures to improve outcomes.

Student Engagement & Training:

  • Deliver comprehensive training programs, including resume workshops, interview preparation sessions, group discussions, and mock interviews.
  • Guide students on career options, higher studies, and industry expectations to enhance their employability.
  • Select and mentor students based on job requirements and company needs to ensure optimal placement results.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in placements, corporate relations, or talent acquisition, preferably in higher education or training institutes.
  • A robust network of recruiters in IT, BFSI, FMCG, manufacturing, and consulting domains.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and data reporting to analyze and present findings.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders to achieve placement goals.
