Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) analysis to assess product category, segment, and company performance.
  • Perform Sales Analysis, including:
  • Profitability by channel, region, state, supplier of origin, and customer for domestic and export sales.
  • Profitability by product group and stock-keeping unit level.

Costing & Margin Analysis

  • Prepare daily product costing reports for marketing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain actual monthly gross margin statements by product, category, segment, original equipment manufacturer, and exporter.
  • Prepare monthly gross margin projections by stock-keeping unit and segment.
  • Conduct Bill of Material and Gross Margin Analysis, including:
  • Nil Margin vs Nil Margin comparison.
  • Gross Margin Projections vs Nil Margin.
  • Original Equipment Product Cost & GM Analysis (quote vs standard operating procedure vs actual sales).
  • Year-on-year comparative analysis.

Inventory & Revenue Reporting

  • Prepare Finished Goods Holding Days report aligned with forward sales plan.
  • Calculate and analyze norms vs actuals by stock-keeping unit, category, and segment.
  • Deliver accurate and timely revenue reports for senior management review.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business.
  • Professional certifications preferred: MBA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing finance or financial planning & analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and database management systems.
  • Strong expertise in financial modelling, data reconciliation, and reporting automation.

  • Solid understanding of Accounting Principles and advanced Financial Analysis techniques.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to interpret changing sales trends and influence decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP and financial planning software.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
