Structural Analysis Expert

We are seeking a skilled Structural Analysis Expert to play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and reliability of aircraft components.

About this role:
  • This position involves performing comprehensive airframe structural analyses using advanced tools like ISAMI, Hypermesh, and MSC Nastran/Patran.
  • You will conduct stress analysis on composite and metallic materials to ensure they can withstand various environmental conditions.
  • An essential task is extracting loads using Airbus in-house tools, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • You will utilize Excel VBA for automation and reporting purposes, streamlining processes and enhancing productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Airframe Structural Analysis: Conduct thorough examinations of aircraft structures to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  2. Material Properties: Analyze the properties and behavior of composite and metallic materials under different loading conditions.
  3. Load Extraction: Use Airbus in-house tools to extract accurate load data from large datasets.
  4. Automation and Reporting: Leverage Excel VBA to automate tasks and generate reports that enhance productivity.
Requirements:
  • Aerospace Engineering Background: Possess a strong background in aerospace engineering with a focus on structural analysis.
  • CAE Tools Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools such as ISAMI, Hypermesh, and MSC Nastran/Patran.
  • Material Knowledge: Have an excellent understanding of composite and metallic materials, including their properties and behavior under different loading conditions.
  • Load Extraction Experience: Possess experience with load extraction using Airbus in-house tools and ability to work with large datasets.
