Project Manager Support

About the role: We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to assist our project manager in planning, executing, and delivering IT projects.

  • Assist project manager: Assist the project manager in planning, scheduling, and monitoring IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Coordinate with teams: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution, including development, infrastructure, QA, support, and more.
  • Track progress: Track project progress, risks, and issues, escalating where necessary to ensure project success.
  • Maintain documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, minutes, and dashboards.
  • Manage communication: Manage communication between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Adhere to methodologies: Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and compliance with IT standards.
  • Support resource allocation: Support in resource allocation, task tracking, and timeline management.
  • Vendor coordination: Handle vendor coordination and follow-ups for deliverables.
  • UAT and deployment: Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and deployment activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree: Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
  • Experience: 4–8 years of experience in IT project coordination or project management support.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and agile methodologies.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Trello, or similar).
  • Organizational skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Time management: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
