Job Responsibilities

We're looking for an expert who can lead the design and implementation of user-facing features, manage server-side logic and databases, oversee third-party API integration, version control systems, testing, deployment, security implementation, performance optimization, and lead regional projects to ensure successful execution and alignment with organizational goals and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement user-facing features to ensure a seamless and responsive user experience across various applications.
  • Develop server-side logic and databases to support front-end functionalities and ensure smooth data processing.
  • Maintain databases to store and manage application data efficiently, ensuring data integrity and scalability.
  • Manage the integration of third-party APIs and web services to enhance application functionality and facilitate seamless data exchange with external systems.
  • Collaborate on codebase using version control systems, ensuring code quality, consistency, and easy collaboration within development teams.
  • Test and debug application components to ensure reliability, security, and optimal performance across different environments.
  • Deploy applications to production environments and collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize deployment processes and ensure continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
  • Implement security best practices and measures (e.g., encryption, authentication, authorization) to protect applications from vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimize application performance, and improve scalability to enhance user experience and accommodate growing user demands.
  • Lead regional projects, collaborating with cross-skilled teams to ensure successful execution and alignment with organizational goals and standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Expertise in working with databases, servers, networks, and programming languages.
  • Able to mentor those in less senior positions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
  • A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
