Fixed Wireless Network Specialist

A critical role for ensuring customers receive optimal Fixed Wireless Broadband services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Address customer complaints and identify areas for improvement to deliver exceptional service experiences.
  • Provide guidance and support to customers as needed, utilizing expert technical knowledge.
Required Skills
  • Fixed Wireless Access: In-depth understanding of outdoor PMP and PTP Licensed and Unlicensed Fixed Wireless Access systems.
  • Network design and configuration: Design and configure outdoor fixed wireless networks that meet the customer's business needs and adhere to industry best practices.
  • Security: Knowledgeable in wireless security protocols and best practices, including authentication, encryption, and access control.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot network issues and identify problems with the outdoor network infrastructure, including signal interference, device connectivity, and network performance.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical issues and solutions to non-technical customers.
Key Qualifications
  • 3 to 8 years of experience in outdoor fixed wireless technologies covering licensed and unlicensed PMP/PTP, 4G/5G RAN and related telecom technologies.
  • Knowledge of RF fundamentals and concepts, outdoor wireless propagation, link budget, L2 and L3 protocol and security, and Quality of Service (QoS) networking preferred.
  • Education requirements include a minimum bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, along with relevant industry certifications, such as 4G/5G RAN, CCNP (routing and switching), and CWNE are highly desirable.
