Job Title: Store Manager

  • Key Responsibilities:

    Maintain accurate records of material receipts, withdrawals, and stock levels.

    Ensure proper bookkeeping and inventory management practices are followed.

    Issue materials as per daily requirements while adhering to company policies.

    Effectively manage store operations, including receiving, inspection, storage, issuance, and transfer of items.

    Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies, report to relevant parties, and maintain accurate records.

    Conduct physical stock verifications twice a year to cross-check with SAP inventory reports, utilizing knowledge of the MM module where applicable.

    Utilize computerized and manual stock checking techniques to ensure accuracy between physical stock and SAP system records, reconcile with user institute and account departments.

    Ensure bar code label printing and labeling upon arrival of asset materials in the store.

    Regularly update asset numbers, descriptions, and movements within institutions according to location changes and tagged using the bar code labeling system.

    Maintain adequate record-keeping and manage all documentation for material transfers, including E-way bill processing on government portals.

    Coordinate the handling of freight and movement of IT and non-IT materials.

    Have good knowledge of scrap disposal procedures for various materials.

    Follow-up overall inventory management procedures.

    Control functions and processes by ensuring that all materials are received, disbursed, accrued, binned, issued, and dispatched according to customer priorities and needs.

    Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business administration, supply chain management).
  • Skills:
  • Packaging, loading, and unloading of materials.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
  • MS Office proficiency.
