As a dedicated finance professional, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence and operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and track transformative initiatives aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Support senior leadership in enhancing processes and achieving exceptional performance.
  • Deliver insightful financial reporting to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure the effective management of business risks and opportunities to drive optimal financial outcomes.
  • Lead projects aimed at improving functional performance and facilitate ad-hoc financial analysis to support critical business choices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive P&L analyses and monitor relevant B/S accounts.
  • Review and track functional cost development, including operations, one-offs, and projects.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes, ensuring timely completion of month-end closing, quarterly forecasting, and annual budgeting.
  • Perform regular actuals vs. budget analysis and track savings from transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Implement and maintain robust SOX and internal controls to guarantee timely cost recognition.
  • Engage with the tax team on fiscal matters related to overhead cost sharing or projects.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Drive ongoing improvement of financial processes, including month-end closing, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Advocate for standardization, automation, and enhanced reporting across functional areas.
  • Implement best practices within the control team.
  • Participate in ad-hoc improvement projects.
We Seek Candidates With:

The following skills and experience:

  • Chartered Accountant/Cost & Management Accountant/MBA (Finance) from a reputable institution.
  • 5-8 years of experience in financial analyst/control functions.
  • A strong interest in working in the chemical manufacturing industry with a global multinational organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred), Business Warehouse, PowerBi.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written).
  • Flexibility and comfort in demanding international environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, analytical, and fact-based approach.
