Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist">

This role involves responsibility for managing, configuring, deploying, installing and maintaining OpenStack infrastructure. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and reliable solutions.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy, configure and manage OpenStack environments using Kolla-Ansible and TripleO.
  • Design, deploy and maintain Ceph storage clusters ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Manage block storage (Cinder), file storage (Manila) and object storage (such as Ceph RGW/S3, Swift, or equivalent).
  • Maintain and optimize OpenStack control plane and compute resources for performance, scalability and reliability.
  • Manage and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Integrate OpenStack environments with monitoring, logging and alerting tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions.
  • Participate in CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes and application deployments.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs, configurations and operational procedures.
  • Support capacity planning, incident management and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
">Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 7–10 years of hands-on OpenStack experience including deployment, configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience deploying OpenStack using Kolla-Ansible (container-based deployment) and TripleO (bare-metal deployment).
  • Relevant 3–5 years of experience with containerization technologies primarily Docker.
  • Relevant 2–3 years of experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift administration.
  • Proficiency in Ceph storage setup and management for block, file and object storage (S3, Swift, or equivalent).
  • Strong proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems administration preferably RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts relevant to cloud environments VLANs, VXLANs, routing, firewalls, load balancing.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • RHCE certified.
