IT Infrastructure Manager

Overview of Role

The IT infrastructure manager will oversee the administration and maintenance of GoKhana's information technology systems to ensure seamless day-to-day operations, provide end-user support, and implement security protocols.

Main Responsibilities

  • System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, networks, printers, and systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance, identify issues, and ensure optimal uptime.
  • User Management: Manage user accounts, access rights, and security permissions.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to employees and resolve IT-related queries.
  • Data Protection: Oversee data backups, recovery processes, and disaster recovery planning.
  • IT Security: Implement and monitor IT security measures (firewalls, antivirus, patching, etc.).
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors for procurement, maintenance, and service support.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of IT assets (laptops, desktops, servers, network devices, etc.).
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience as an IT Administrator/System Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Workspace, etc.).
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
