Job Description

We're on a mission to leverage the latest advancements in Machine Learning (ML) research to solve complex problems in the insurance industry and beyond. Our team is dedicated to building high-quality AI systems that transform the way we work, from assessing damage and accelerating claims to recycling parts.

As an Applied Scientist, you'll contribute to the design, development, and improvement of AI/ML models and systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI/ML solutions in production at scale, ensuring the quality of architecture and design of our ML models and systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing AI/ML models, workflows, and end-to-end pipelines for data preparation, training, deployment, monitoring, and more.
  • Working with applied scientists, data scientists, software engineers, and product partners to design and deliver AI/ML solutions in production at scale.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field. A PhD in Computer Science or a related field with a focus on Machine Learning is a strong plus.
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience in machine vision (classical methods and deep learning) and information retrieval. Natural Language Processing is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in building scalable AI/ML models and systems and delivering end-to-end solutions in a production environment.
  • Experience programming in Python, C++, or related languages.
