Job Title: Hydraulic Design Manager

Description:

Detailed and strategic hydraulic design manager with 8-10 years of experience in managing large-scale water supply pipeline projects and irrigation schemes. Adept at conducting hydraulic analysis, preparing detailed designs, and ensuring timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the hydraulic design process for water supply pipeline projects and irrigation schemes from planning to commissioning.
  2. Conduct thorough site investigations and gather data on existing infrastructure to inform design decisions.
  3. Prepare and present technical reports to stakeholders, including government departments and clients.
  4. Manage and coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
  5. Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate project delays and cost overruns.
  6. Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and develop customized solutions that meet their needs.
  7. Analyze and interpret complex data sets to inform design decisions and optimize project outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • B.E. Civil or M.Tech (Water Resources/Irrigation/Environment) degree.
  • 8-10 years of experience in hydraulic design and engineering.
  • Proficiency in Water GEMS, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and E survey Software.
  • Knowledge of pipeline hydraulics, pipe materials, and relevant IS codes.
  • Experience working on water supply pipeline projects and irrigation schemes.
