Job Title: Virtual Infrastructure SpecialistResponsibilities:
  • Design end-to-end virtual desktop solutions by analyzing business requirements, assessing existing infrastructure, and designing scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures.
  • Integrate Citrix products, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud, with Azure virtual desktop services to provide a comprehensive and cohesive virtual desktop solution.
  • Configure and manage Azure virtual machines, session hosts, virtual networks, and storage to create and maintain Azure virtual desktop environments.
  • Design and implement identity and access management strategies, including integration with Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls for virtual desktop environments.
  • Optimize virtual desktop environments for performance, scalability, and user experience, monitor and tune resource allocation, load balancing, and network bandwidth to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Several years of experience as a Citrix architect or similar role, designing and implementing virtual desktop solutions using Citrix technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure virtual desktop services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, and virtual networks.
  • Proficiency in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud.
  • Experience in network design, including connectivity options, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
