About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Steward to join our Data Stewardship team in Bangalore, India.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to support data governance and quality initiatives within one of our key business functions, with an initial focus on customer, contact, and product master data domains.

As a Senior Data Steward, you will collaborate with data consumers, creators, and the central Data & Model Governance team to diagnose root causes and drive measurable data improvements.

This may include preventative and reactive data remediation activities, ensuring data health and quality across our systems.

You will be a key player in the adoption and development of data stewardship operations within the business function you support.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Data Governance team to implement data controls and drive compliance with data standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional data stewards to maintain data catalog information, monitor and manage data health, investigate data issues, and identify preventative data remediations.
  • Participate in system and process improvement projects to support data quality and governance initiatives.
About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree required, with overall 9+ years of experience.
  • 7+ years experience in Digital, Data, Analysis, and/or Technology roles.
  • Practical experience working within a data ethics/governance framework.
  • Process analysis skills, with the ability to translate business issues and requirements into actionable plans.
  • Thorough understanding of data and systems infrastructures.
  • Technical skills in exploring, analyzing, profiling, and manipulating data sets (e.g., SQL, Python, Alteryx).
