Embedded Systems Specialist

The Embedded Systems Specialist plays a pivotal role in designing firmware that seamlessly integrates with hardware teams to ensure the optimal performance of IoT, medical, and defence systems. This requires a deep understanding of electronics, sensors, and communication interfaces.

This position demands expertise in C/C++, RTOS, and ARM-based MCUs. The ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues is crucial. Proficiency in oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers is necessary for thorough testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop firmware for mission-critical devices.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers on PCB design, power management, and EMI/EMC considerations.
  • Implement robust drivers for communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, BLE, LoRa).
  • Conduct rigorous debugging, unit testing, and system validation.

Requirements

  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Electrical, or related fields.
  • 2–5 years of embedded firmware development experience.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, RTOS, and ARM-based MCUs.
    • Exposure to communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, BLE, LoRa).
    • Familiarity with debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers).
    • Understanding of power management circuits, EMI/EMC, and IoT hardware constraints.
