As the Embedded Systems Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and integration of all embedded software and system-level features for the smart camera system. This includes driving the platform bring-up, camera system development, wireless communication integration, and low-power optimization in collaboration with a cross-functional hardware and software team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Owning the full embedded software stack for the smart camera system is essential to delivering high-quality products.
  • Leading the board bring-up and BSP development for custom hardware requires strong technical expertise.
  • Developing and integrating Linux kernel drivers for camera, wireless, and sensors demands in-depth knowledge of operating systems and device drivers.
  • Integrating and debugging Wi-Fi, Zigbee, LoRa wireless communication protocols necessitates a thorough understanding of wireless communication standards.
  • Leads the development of camera subsystem drivers (MIPI CSI-2, ISP tuning, V4L2) which are critical to capturing high-quality images.
  • Implementing low-power operation, sleep modes, and battery monitoring features ensures the long-term viability of our products.
  • Coordinates with the hardware team for hardware-software co-design and power optimization to achieve optimal system performance.
  • Develops interfaces for Edge AI inference pipelines (TensorFlow Lite or similar) to enable intelligent decision-making capabilities.
  • Debugs complex system issues using JTAG, logic analyzers, and embedded logging to ensure product reliability.
  • Documents system architecture, APIs, and provides mentorship to junior team members to facilitate knowledge sharing and growth.

We are seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer who possesses strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++, Embedded Linux (Yocto, Buildroot), and experience with Linux kernel development and device driver programming. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Wi-Fi driver stacks and wireless MAC layers, as well as experience integrating and tuning camera modules and MIPI-CSI pipelines.
