Automation Engineer - Assembly Line Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to design and develop assembly automation solutions for various industries. As an expert in Solid Edge, you will be responsible for creating 3D models, layouts, and detailed 2D drawings.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Automation Solutions: Design and develop efficient assembly automation solutions for automotive and industrial applications.
  • Create 3D Models and Drawings: Create 3D models, layouts, and detailed 2D drawings using Solid Edge for engine assembly, battery pack assembly, and other automated processes.
  • Gantry and Pallet Design: Design gantries, pallets, lifters, conveyors, and material handling systems based on project requirements.
  • Prepare Documentation: Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), manufacturing drawings, and assembly documentation.
  • Conduct Reviews and Estimation: Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies, and cost estimation for proposed solutions.
  • Support Installation and Commissioning: Support prototype development, installation, and commissioning activities at customer sites.
  • Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure adherence to GD&T standards, industry practices, and safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4-8 Years of Experience: 4-8 years of experience in assembly automation and special-purpose machine design.
  • Solid Edge Expertise: Strong expertise in Solid Edge for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
