Job Title: SAP Basis Leader

Role Overview:

\

We are seeking a seasoned SAP Basis professional to spearhead BASIS AMS Service delivery across a complex SAP landscape for multiple clients. The ideal candidate should possess strong SAP Basis expertise, excellent communication skills and extensive experience of working on SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • \
  • Lead application monitoring & support services for global clients across SAP environments including ECC 6.0, S/4HANA, CRM, SCM, BW/4HANA.\
  • Act as the first point of escalation for clients in case of any issues or challenges from a technical delivery point of view.\
  • Ensure timely delivery of all work items, aligned to defined & agreed SLAs; assure process adherence and compliance by the team.\
  • Prepare Service Performance Reports (Monthly), Issue Tracker & Open Items (Weekly), and Continuous Improvement Reports (Monthly) for clients.\
  • Collaborate and coordinate with client and SAP internal teams to drive agile resolution of critical issues.\
  • Have a sound understanding of SAP Cloud ALM, Focused Run (FRUN), and ITSM ticketing tools to manage incidents and service delivery.\
  • Drive continuous improvement in process or service delivery and driving adoption of AI-based automation.\
  • Provide client pulse, publish SLA & KPI reports, and provide performance insights to leadership and stakeholders.\
  • Guide or mentor the delivery team from a technical basis perspective – Basis, Security, and Data Growth areas.\
  • Manage the team across shifts ensuring seamless handovers without any process breakdowns.\

  • Technical & Functional Skills:\
    • \
    • In-depth knowledge of SAP Basis Administration including HANA DB, ABAP/Java stacks, and SAP landscape management.\
    • Hands-on experience with Cloud ALM, FRUN, and ITSM tools.\
    • Exposure to SAP modules and systems including ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, PI/PO, CPI, CRM, SCM.\

      • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, for effective interaction with global stakeholders.\
      • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.\
      • Ability to mentor team members, coordinate shift activities, and maintain high service quality.\

      • Qualifications:\
        • \
        • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.\
        • 10 to 12 years of relevant SAP Basis experience, including leadership roles in a 24x7 support environment.\
        • ITIL certification or working knowledge of ITIL-based processes is preferred.\
