Product Design Engineer

A mechanical engineer with 12+ years of experience in designing and testing new components and products.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and test new components and products to meet performance and quality standards.
  • Manage assigned mechanical design projects from conceptualization to production launch.
  • Perform day-to-day CAD activities, including design development, modification, and documentation.
  • Conduct regular design reviews with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyze solutions to achieve the best outcome for performance, cost, and schedule.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher qualification) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in designing electromechanical products, including prototyping and testing.
  • Familiarity with international standards, such as UL/IEC.
  • Experience with testing below international standards is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expertise in SolidWorks and EPDM, with knowledge of other CAD packages.
  • Experience with Computer-Aided Development tools and CAE software.
  • In-depth knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles and practices.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Previous employment in high-volume product industries, with experience in managing complex projects.
