- We're seeking a skilled Public Policy Manager to develop and implement advocacy strategies engaging with central and state governments, regulators, and key stakeholders to promote CARS24's interests.
- This role involves representing CARS24 in public policy forums, meetings with policymakers, and industry associations to ensure the company's perspective is represented in all regulatory matters.
Key responsibilities include drafting policy briefs, position papers, and submissions for government consultations on emerging issues in the automotive, technology, financial services, and e-commerce sectors.
Policy Research and AnalysisTo monitor and conduct thorough research on policy issues, emerging regulatory frameworks, and government initiatives impacting business operations, compliance, and strategic objectives.
- Prepare regular reports and updates on public policy developments, summarizing key policy trends, risks, and opportunities for senior leadership.
- Keep abreast of developments in areas such as FDI, e-commerce, trade policy, taxation, labour laws, environmental regulations, and data protection laws.
The successful candidate will assess the implications of new or evolving laws and regulations and advise internal teams on compliance and adaptation strategies.
Cross-functional CollaborationThis role requires collaboration with legal, compliance, business strategy, and operations teams to integrate public policy considerations into business planning and decision-making processes.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to align public policy strategies with business goals, ensuring coherent and effective advocacy.
- Support leadership in responding to public policy challenges and opportunities, providing strategic counsel on regulatory affairs.
