Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Communications professional to join our team in creating compelling narratives and engaging content across various formats.
The ideal candidate will be a curious, people-oriented, and passionate storyteller who can engage directly with beneficiaries, document experiences, and turn them into captivating stories.
- Conduct interviews and conversations to capture authentic stories.
- Document stories and events in clear, concise, and engaging formats (articles, short write-ups, social media captions, case studies, etc.).
- Support the creation of internal and external communication materials.
- Assist in building and maintaining an archive of stories, photographs, and other content assets.
- Collaborate with the communications team to generate fresh ideas for content.
- Design visual content such as social media posts, presentations, or reports using tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, Canva, or similar.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (ongoing or completed) in Communications, Journalism, English, Liberal Arts, Media Studies, Public Relations, or related fields.
- Candidates from Design, Fine Arts, or related disciplines with strong writing skills are also encouraged to apply.
Desired Skills & Competencies
The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, strong interviewing and documentation abilities, and the ability to write across formats. Familiarity with design tools is a significant plus.
