Job Title: Psychologist

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Psychologist to provide mental health support and counseling services on a rotational basis. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology, 1-8 years of experience working with youth/academic mental health, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage with students in an empathetic way.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide overnight mental health support on a rotational basis (10 PM – 6 AM).
  • Conduct in-person counseling sessions in student hostels.
  • Facilitate walk-in sessions and manage student appointments through our online portal.
  • Undertake floor walks in hostels to build visibility, accessibility, and trust with students.
  • Maintain timely case notes, records, and reports while upholding strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to run awareness drives, workshops, and well-being campaigns across campus.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology (mandatory).
  • Have (1 - 8 years) experience (or strong interest) in working with youth/academic mental health.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with students in an empathetic, approachable way.
  • Are comfortable with flexible working hours, including night shifts.
  • Are fluent in English and Hindi (knowledge of Bengali is a plus).
  • Willing to stay on campus.
