Senior Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team.

  • Design and implement scalable AI-infused features for deep code analysis and review.
  • Develop and integrate language models into development workflows, creating tooling that is intuitive and efficient for developers.
  • Ensure the scalability of smart systems with a focus on efficiency, from local setups to cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Contribute to ideation and innovation, bringing creativity, feedback, and mentorship to the team.
  • Stay at the forefront of generative AI and software engineering best practices through debriefs and evolution.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with strong fundamentals and clean, scalable code.
  • Fluency in modern backend stacks, preferably TypeScript/Node.js, although other server-side languages are welcome.
  • Experience with distributed systems, high-performance computing, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Advantageous: hands-on knowledge of code search, code graphs, static analysis tools, and frameworks like tree-sitter.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or equivalent; a passion for tackling complex problems; an enthusiasm for teaching and learning.
