Job Description: Back-end Developer - Mumbai Location

Role : Web Developer

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust systems using .NET Core, Web API, and C#.
  • Manage and optimize MS SQL databases to support application performance.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in services, including expensive API calls.
  • Modernize legacy applications to improve scalability and efficiency.
  • Handle frequent Change Requests (CRs) for services and ensure system reliability.
  • Collaborate with Front-end developers to reduce response and wait times impacting UI performance.

Required Skills

  • Technologies: .NET Core, Web API, C#, MS SQL
  • Strong experience in building and optimizing systems with .NET Core and Web API.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL for database design, querying, and performance tuning.
  • Expertise in identifying and resolving performance issues in services.
  • Familiarity with common frameworks/modules supporting multiple applications.
  • Ability to handle complex Change Requests and maintain system stability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on modernizing legacy systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4 to 9 years of experience in development.
  • Strong understanding of web application development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across a lean, cross-functional team.
