Senior AI Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to develop and optimize scalable backend systems, APIs, and AI automation workflows. This individual will work on building high-performance applications, integrating third-party APIs, and designing efficient, cloud-native architectures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python/Fast API and frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, and other relevant technologies.
  • Optimize database performance using SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) to ensure efficient data management.
  • Implement asynchronous programming for high-throughput applications using Kafka, RabbitMQ, and other suitable tools.
  • Work with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes) to streamline system development.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment and testing to ensure seamless integration.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to process and optimize large-scale datasets for accurate analysis.
  • Develop and integrate machine learning pipelines where necessary to enhance system capabilities.
  • Write efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices and industry standards.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure knowledge sharing and growth.
  • Ensure high system security, performance, and scalability through rigorous testing and optimization.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in software development and 5+ in Python to ensure strong technical foundation.
  • 2+ yrs exp of General AI, Open AI, AWS bedrock, crew.ai, langchain, etc to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and SOLID principles to ensure robust system design.
  • Experience in building RESTful and GraphQL APIs to enable seamless data exchange.
  • Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch) to manage complex data structures.
  • Knowledge of multi-threading, concurrency, and asynchronous programming to optimize system performance.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and serverless computing to leverage scalability.
  • Experience working with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization to ensure smooth system deployment.
  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills to resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Proficiency in unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) to ensure thorough system validation.
