Cloud Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Cloud Project Manager to lead the delivery of projects related to our cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, systems administration, and client-facing experience. They will be responsible for overseeing cross-functional projects, managing cloud-focused teams, and collaborating with internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cloud infrastructure projects using Agile/Scrum or traditional methodologies.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and coach teams on Agile principles.
  • Oversee projects end-to-end, including planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Track progress, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery within budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent professional experience is mandatory.
  • 5+ years in systems administration, with at least 3 years managing AWS environments.
  • 4+ years in project management or Scrum Master roles in IT or cloud-based environments.
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience, including requirements gathering and solution delivery.
  • 2+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP).

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation). Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems administration.
  • Understanding of cloud security practices and monitoring tools (SIEM).

Leadership and Soft Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to motivate, mentor, and manage technical teams.

Availability:

  • Flexibility to work late-night shifts for system maintenance, project deadlines, and global client needs.
  • Occasional on-call availability for escalations.
