Cloud Native Infrastructure Architect Position

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Native Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise-grade cloud-native infrastructure.

This role will be hands-on with architecture and automation while also providing strategic direction on AKS adoption, DevOps tooling, and cloud-native best practices.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Architecture & Strategy: Define end-to-end architectures for AKS-based workloads in Azure, design multi-environment, multi-region AKS architectures for high availability and disaster recovery, establish best practices for container orchestration, scaling, and governance in AKS, and advise on cost optimization strategies for AKS and related Azure resources.
  • Azure & AKS Expertise: Architect and provision AKS clusters with features like cluster and node pool autoscaling, private cluster configuration, network isolation using Azure CNI / Kubenet, managed identities, and Azure AD integration, integrate AKS with supporting Azure services such as Azure Monitor, Managed Prometheus & Grafana, Azure Container Registry (ACR), and Azure Key Vault.
  • DevOps & Automation: Design Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates for AKS provisioning, implement GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux) for automated deployments, define CI/CD architecture using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins for AKS workloads.
  • Security & Compliance: Architect RBAC and Azure AD security models for AKS access, integrate security scanning for container images and Kubernetes workloads, and ensure alignment with compliance frameworks and governance policies.
  • Monitoring, Logging, & Observability: Architect observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Managed Prometheus, Container Insights, and Grafana, establish automated alerting, anomaly detection, and incident response playbooks.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-native infrastructure solutions. They will have experience working with AKS, Azure services, and DevOps tools, as well as knowledge of security, compliance, and monitoring practices.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud native infrastructure, AKS, or related technologies
  • Proven track record of designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-native infrastructure solutions
  • Expertise in Azure services, DevOps tools, and security, compliance, and monitoring practices
  • Strong understanding of cloud native principles, including containers, microservices, and serverless computing
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
