Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Description:
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate quality testing activities within Agile teams.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
  • Test data environment setup in coordination with upstream and downstream teams.
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs thoroughly.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  • Track quality assurance metrics like defect densities, test coverage, and open defect counts.

Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in functional and non-functional testing in complex projects. A solid understanding of core JAVA, JavaScript, SQL, and Shell scripting is essential. Hands-on experience with automated build testing tools like Selenium, Cucumber, BDD, JBehave, Gherkin, XML, Cypress, API Automation, Rest Assured, GIT, JIRA, Confluence, and Agile Methodology is required. Additionally, exposure to database testing concepts, DevOps CI/CD, Jenkins, Groovy, Java JEE tech stack, integration technology expertise (API, FTP, WebServices, Messaging), banking or financial service industry experience, and good communication skills are highly desirable.
