We are seeking a skilled Senior Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the engineering team, product/business, service providers, and third-party vendors to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure project milestones are met by prioritizing features, quality, and time for end-to-end delivery.
  • Integrate micro-services and cross-platform technologies (backend, frontend, integration with third-party vendors) to create seamless experiences.
  • Implement features using Agile methods and tools, working closely with the engineering team.
  • Participate actively in an integrated DevOps team, responsible for overall setup and ensuring smooth deployment.
  • Debug production issues raised by customers and customer support teams, isolate them, and work towards a fix.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of software development experience in a large-scale production environment.
  • Experience with modern technologies including JavaScript, NodeJS, Express, Restify, Swagger, Docker, Mocha, Testdouble, Supertest, Chai, Grunt, Jsdoc, Jshint, Git.
  • DevOps experience with continuous integration, continuous deployment, and maintenance of deployments in AWS cloud with technologies like Elastic Beanstalk, Docker, Kubernetes, Quickbuild, Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with AWS technologies, including Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, DynamoDB, ASG, ELB, ECR, ECS, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM.

Desirable Skills:

  • Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with focus on high quality and standards.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex technical information to audiences of equal or higher-level technical competency.
  • Minimum of 2 years professional experience with AWS, including development.
  • Strong understanding of databases, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Ability to deliver and accept feedback on code and design.
  • Strong experience working in a Linux system.
  • Ability to debug unfamiliar distributed architectures and isolate problems.
