Workday Functional Consultant Role

At our organization, we're seeking a seasoned Workday Functional Consultant to play a pivotal role in implementing and configuring Workday solutions. This position is ideal for professionals looking to grow into Product Management, functional consulting, or business operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders and product managers to comprehend business requirements, processes, and needs. They'll translate these into effective Workday configurations, ensuring seamless communication with various stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs, develop comprehensive solutions, and implement them efficiently.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Workday configurations that align with organizational objectives.
  • Configure and maintain Workday modules according to client specifications.
  • Develop clear functional documentation and workflows to support testing cycles.
  • Provide timely delivery of Workday configurations and facilitate change management activities.

Required Skills:

  1. 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant, with at least 2–3 years working with Workday configurations.
  2. Strong comprehension of HR processes and business workflows.
  3. Hands-on experience with Workday HCM and relevant modules (certifications preferred).
  4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  5. Experience in Agile environments, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
